Day 1 of a 100-day bodyweight challenge: 10,000 reps each of push-ups, body-weight rows, sit-ups, sandbag clean & press, and squats — 50,000 reps total, plus half an hour of meditation a day on average. Progress toward the first 15-day checkpoint, one entry at a time.

Day 1 — Aug 15

Felt strong going in. Planned 300 reps of each exercise, ended up doing 200 — still well past the daily pace — and it took 2.5 hours. Capped it off with a 3.5-mile hike, so not the worst way to spend a Saturday.

Day 2 — Aug 16

Started out very sore from Day 1. Set myself a side-challenge: do the day’s 100 of each in under 40 minutes. Hit it — 39:30, really — and it turned out to be the first Speed Badge on the dashboard.

Day 3 — Aug 17

Sore from the start, and honestly wanted out of it. Tried to trickle the day out in small pieces, realized that would just drag on longer, and pushed straight through from the second circuit on. Not a fast day, but a finished one — sometimes that’s the whole win.

Day 4 — Aug 18

Only sore in the stomach today — everything else finally easing up. Had jury duty, so I got the whole set done early, before 7 AM, which earned an Early Bird badge. Also came in at 37:39, a new personal best, beating Day 2’s time.

So Far

Four days in and the soreness curve is already bending. Two badges, one new PB, and pace is still ahead of the Day 15 target. The next real checkpoint is Day 15 — 7,500 reps banked, or the tier is gone for good. More here as it happens.
